Kristen Holland
Burgess
Director
Kristen acquired a B.A. in Business Psychology from Christopher Newport University while studying dance at Old Dominion University. She has taught dance in the local area for over 15 years. While attending CNU, Kristen was a member of the performing dance team and she choreographed dance portions for area productions. She has also participated in various dance conventions on the East coast and developed award winning choreography. Her choreography has won Best Talent in national pageants and Most Entertaining at Dance Competitions. Kristen has also co-directed a dance competition. Her students have gone on to receive full scholarships for dance to colleges such as VCU and U Arts in Philadelphia. As a certified group exercise instructor/Pilates instructor through the Red Cross and the YMCA, Kristen is certified in CPR and AED. |

Lauren Sinclair
Lauren Sinclair is a graduate of the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C., an international residential training program for dancers. During her three years there, she studied under Alla Sisova, Ludmila Morkovina and Nikolai Morozov. She attended summer programs at American Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet, Orlando Ballet, and Ballet Austin. Lauren was a trainee with Ballet Austin before returning to the local area to dance with Virginia Ballet Theatre (VBT) in 2003. Her professional performances include The Nutcracker, Flower Festival in Genzano, Con Amore, Serenade, Allegro Brilliante, Raymonda, Spiritual to Gospel, Dracula, Appalachian Spring, Il Distratto, Carnival of the Animals, Irish Ode, Coppélia, and Cinderella. Lauren received her Bachelor degree from Old Dominion University in Communication and Psychology, and is also a Registered Yoga Teacher. In addition to performing, Lauren teaches dance at TR Dance and Academy of Dance. |

Tara Muth
Ballet, Tap, Jazz & Acro Rhythmic Dance
Tara began her dance training twelve years ago in local dance studios. She is currently seeking a degree in Dance Education and Early Childhood Development at Old Dominion University. Tara has competed on the Dynamic Dance Team for five years. She has won the best overall title at nationals and the grand champion title at regional. She has performed in many community shows and productions. She has also performed at the Orange Bowl Half Time show in Florida. Tara has perfected her dance ability by taking class with dance greats such as Barry Youngblood and Mandy Moore. Tara has completed her Dynamic Movements Teaching Certificate. |

Lacey Tuttle
Ballet, Tap, Jazz, & Acro Rhythmic Dance
Lacey is currently taking classes in early childhood development. She has been studying dance at local dance schools for 10 years. Lacey has competed with the Dynamic Dance Team for three years. She competed in solo and group divisions winning many platinum awards as well as earning the champion of the day title. She has also performed in various productions in the area and at the Orange Bowl Half Time show in Florida. In her spare time she expands her dance knowledge by taking local workshops taught by the area’s best! Lacey has completed her Dynamic Movements Teaching Certificate. |

Amanda Solberg
Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Modern, Jazz
Amanda Solberg has received her B.A.in Dance Education at Old Dominion University. She is a currently employed at Bush Gardens, dancing in the new Sesame Street production. Amanda has danced in studios in Virginia and Florida where she competed for 13 years. Amanda holds a Best Talent Title for her own performances, and her Choreography has been selected to appear in showcases for Old Dominion University Productions. She is also CPR-certified. |

Christie LaConga
Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz
Christie LaCongo will be a graduate of the University at Buffalo in May 2010, with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in dance. At UB, she is a member of Zodiaque Dance Company, director of student run show Dancer’s Workshop, tap teaching assistant, and student representative of the dance department. She has performed with Zodiaque Studio Dance Ensemble and Emerging Choreographers Showcase in addition to Zodiaque Dance Company and Dancer’s Workshop. Christie has been trained in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Pas de Deux, Social Dance, Improvisation, Voice, and Acting at the University at Buffalo. Most recently, she has danced professionally with Spirit Productions in “Le Grand Cirque” and “Masters of Magic” in Niagara Falls, Canada and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Christie has also been dance captain and performed at Busch Gardens Europe in “American Jukebox” and “Kinetix” in Williamsburg, Virginia. She has performed with Six Flags in “Bugs Bunny and Friends Going Hollywood” and “Dead Man’s Party” as well. In the 2010 season, Christie will be the Senior Supervisor of Dance for Busch Gardens Europe. Dancing is Christie’s passion and she always looks forward sharing it with everyone she can! |

Chelsea Elmore
Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop
Chelsea is currently studying Kinesiology and Dance at William and Mary. She has Choreographed for the William and Mary Dance Department and is a member of the Tribal Dance Team. She performs at William and Mary Home Football and Basketball games. Chelsea has also performed at local community shows and the Orange Bowl Half Time Show in Florida. She has Competed for six years at local studios earning many awards and titles. Chelsea has also completed her Dynamic Movements Teaching Certificate. |

Katie Inman
Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Adult Classes, Modern, and Lyrical
Katie has a BFA in illustration from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. She began taking dance when she was very young even performing in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Donny Osmond. Throughout high school and college she continued her training in LA and NY with some of the top dancers and choreographers in the country. Katie has over 10 years of teaching experience at many top ranked studios in both MI and VA specializing in Tap, Jazz and Hip-Hop. She has won numerous special awards including, best choreography, most entertaining and top overall score at various local and national competitions. Her students have made appearances on Good Morning America, Showtime at the Apollo and Disney. Most recently you may have seen her choreography in the 2008, 2009 Miss Virginia Pageants. Katie is excited to share her love of dance and choreography with the students at Dynamic Movements. |

Jennifer Buchheit
Ballet
Jennifer was a resident of Hampton Roads, Virginia when she started dancing at the age of three with The Virginia Ballet Theatre and Eva May Morris School of Dance. In high school she continued her training with the Governors School for the Arts, performing roles in many ballets including Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty. Mrs. Buchheit holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance from Old Dominion University, where she was a recipient of the Eva May Morris Gregory dance scholarship. She has performed with many modern dance companies including Second Wind Dance Company, The Phillip Deal Dance Project, and Todd Rosenlieb Dance. After moving to San Antonio, Jennifer was a company member with Ballet San Antonio, Alamo Arts Ballet and San Antonio Jazz Ensemble. She had the honor of teaching for ballet schools in the San Antonio area, as well as performing in various productions, including “The Nutcracker” where she had the privilege of performing the role of Clara, and as a principal dancer in “The Passion of Dance”. Before moving back to Hampton Roads, Jennifer served as Ballet Director for Insight Dance Ensemble, Assistant Director for Move & Groove Dance and Ballet Director for Trilogy Dance Center. Jennifer has danced and choreographed along the east coast from Virginia to New York as well as San Antonio. Her work has been featured in many concerts and competitions, winning numerous awards. Currently Mrs. Buchheit is teaching at Dynamic Movements School of Performing Arts, Todd Rosenlieb Dance Center and the Governors School for the Arts. |

Jacob Spallino
Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern
Jacob is currently studying Dance at The Govenor’s School Of Performing Arts at the TR Dance Center. Jacob will be attending VCU this Fall to further his Dance Education. Jacob’s Choreography and performances has won him several awards such as Top Elite Soloist and Highest Score of the Day. His Choreography has also been performed at the ODU Theatre with the Governor’s School. |

Carrie Nicholson
Cheering
Coach Carrie has over twelve years of coaching experience. She started cheering at the age of nine and holds several competitive titles including a first place state and a third placed national ranking. She has several years of experience in choreographing cheerleading routines. Carrie has coach gymnastics for five years. She has been trained under the USA Gymnastics standards and has worked for some of the highest ranked gyms in Virginia. The kids she has trained in gymnastics have had various ability levels from toddlers just learning how to jump all the way to highly competitive athletes.
